Ingredients:

3 lb pork butt roast

1 onion roughly chopped

2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 dark beer or dark soda (like coke or root beer)

BBQ sauce

Buns
-
Slaw

Tools: Dutch oven
Instructions

Bring pork butt to room temperature.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Coat pork all over with Char Crust® All American Barbecue.

Place the dutch oven on the stove top and heat to medium high. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add pork butt. Sear on all sides until nicely browned.

Add 1 can of beer or soda. Bring to a boil. Add chopped onion. Put lid on dutch oven and put in the oven.

Cook for about 3 hours and let sit for about an hour. Remove from liquid and shred with a fork.

Add bbq sauce to the pork to taste. Place some pork on each bun, top with coleslaw and serve.
